INSTALLED EBAY CATBACK EXHAUST.  IT ALMOST BOLTED UP PERFECTLY AFTER A LOT OF STRUGGLING I JUST COULDN'T GET IT TO FIT AND TOOK IT TO THE MUFFLER SHOP TO HAVE THEM INSTALL IT.  THEY RECLOCKED ONE OF THE FLANGES AND DID A LOT OF ADJUSTMENTS OF THE HANGERS TO GET IT TO FIT PERFECTLY.  SOUNDS GREAT, NOT TOO LOUD, I WISH IT WERE A TAD LOUDER.  NEED TO PORT OUT THE HUMP IN THE MUFFLER o_O' 

INSTALLED APEXI SUPER AFC. 

INSTALLED EVO IX 560CC INJECTORS.  TUNED SUPER AFC TO -20% GLOBAL, NOW THE FUN PART STARTS TURNING UP THE BOOST AND TUNING o_O'.

WIRED FANS TOGETHER AND INSTALLED A SLIM FAN.  MORE CLEARANCE BETWEEN J-PIPE AND COOLING FAN.  COOLS FASTER WHEN IN TRAFFIC. 

INSTALLED WALBRO 190 LPH FUEL PUMP AND CLEANED PUMP FILTER. 

INSTALLED TURBOLOGIC MANUAL BOOST CONTROLLER.  HAS MUCH BETTER BOOST RESPONSE AND MORE STABLE BOOST.  SET AT 15 PSI. 

INSTALLED BETTER REAR CENTERPIECE. 

REPLACED POWER ANTENNA WITH A REGULAR ANTENNA MOUNT.  RESTORED REAR INTERIOR: CLEANED HATCH DRAIN HOLES, ROUTED DRAIN TUBES TO CORRECT HOLES (THEY WEREN'T EVEN IN THE HOLES), INSTALLED 1 GROMMET THAT WAS MISSING, INSTALLED NON-CRACKED SPARE TIRE COVER, GOT A SPARE TIRE INSTALL KIT. 

INSTALLED CARBON FIBER HOOD.  SWAPPED NICE REAR STRUT BAR FOR MY OLD STRUT BAR BECAUSE IT WAS HITTING THE HOOD.  INSTALLED UNIVERSAL WASHER NOZZLES.  INSTALLED NEW WIPER. 

INSTALLED REACH ALL ALUMINUM RADIATOR, THE ONE I GOT STARTED LEAKING FROM WHERE THE TANKS MEET THE CORE.  RELOCATED SLIM FAN SLIGHTLY TO CLEAR J-PIPE BECAUSE THE NEW RADIATORS CORE IS LARGER. 

GOT EBAY CATBACK EXHAUST AND EVO IX INJECTORS BUT HAVEN'T INSTALLED YET. 

GOT SOME TALON 2GA SIDESKIRTS MINUS ONE END CAP, NEED TO PAINT AND INSTALL THEM.

INSTALLED A MANIFOLD WITH SMALLER CRACKS THAN THE STOCK ONE, PORTED MANIFOLD AND TURBINE, GASKET MATCHED O2 HOUSING,

INSTALLED 16G INSTALL KIT,

INSTALLED NEWER RADIATOR,

REPLACED WATER PIPE O-RING (IT WAS LEAKING PRETTY BAD), INSTALLED NEW GASKETS: 7CM TURBINE GASKET, 4 LAYER RRE MLS EXHAUST MANIFIOLD GASKET, O2 HOUSING GASKET, AND DOWNPIPE GASKET. 

STILL TRYING TO GET BOOST CONTROLLER SORTED OUT. 

THINKING OF GET A E85 CONVERTER COMPUTER BOX. 

HAD AN ASIANWOLF REMOTE START ALARM INSTALLED AT PACIFIC STEREO A WHILE BACK, GOT MY CHEAPO DOOR ACTUATORS INSTALLED ALSO. 

BOUGHT A CARBON FIBER HOOD NEED TO GET AROUND INSTALLING IT.

ONE NIGHT I RAN INTO A PARKING ISLAND AND F#$%('D UP THE BUMPER A BIT AND MANGLED UP THE INTERCOOLER PIPING.  NOW THE BOOST TAPERS OFF AT THE HIGHER RPMS BECAUSE OF THE PIPE.  DID WHAT I COULD TO PATCH UP THE CRACKED BUMPER AND PUT THE IC PIPING ON FOR NOW.  STILL RUNS GOOD BUT BOOST TAPERS OFF AT HIGH RPM.  BOUGHT A STEEL U BEND AND AM GOING TO REPLACE THE MANGLED PIPE.  IT WAS WORSE THAN I THOUGHT IT WAS WHEN I TOOK IT OFF. 

TUNE IS GOOD I THINK, ON SOME DAYS IT RUNS KINDA OF LEAN AND IT DETONATES.  I GOT ONE MISFIRE CODE ONE DAY.  I'M CONSTANTLY GETTING FUEL PRESSURE SOLENOID MALFUNCTION CODES SO I WILL HAVE TO GO DOWN TO SATAN ONE OF THESE DAYS AND GET ME A NEW ONE, HOPE ITS NOT TOO EXPENSIVE.  CAR RUNS GREAT NOT MUCH LEFT TO DO TO IT. 

PLANS ARE TO PAINT THOSE SIDESKIRTS I GOT AT THE JUNKYARD AND INSTALL THEM,

INSTALL MY NARDI WHEEL AND MOVE THE CRUISE CONTROL LEVER,

GOT A REMOVEABLE STEERING WHEEL ADAPTER, AND INSTALL CAMBER KITS. 

I GOT AN ADJUSTABLE CAMBER KIT ON EBAY FOR CHECK, FRONT AND REAR TOO.  I'LL DEFINATELY GET THE REAR INSTALLED LATER AND START DISMANTLING THE COLLARS FROM THE SKUNK2S ON THE GREEN CAR. 

STARTED A NEW JOB COUPLE MONTHS AGO SO I HAVEN'T HAD MUCH TIME TO WORK ON THE CAR LATELY.  =(  I TRY TO TAKE IT OUT ONCE IN A WHILE, I HAVE A HARBOR FREIGHT RV SOLAR PANEL HOOKED UP WHEN I DON'T USE IT AND IT WORKS TO COMPENSATE FOR THE DRAIN.  

PUT THE 16'S BACK ON FOUND OUT THE 18'S ARE RUBBING ON THE KNUCKLE AND THE SPLASH GUARD.  WILL PROBABLY JUST SELL THE 18'S, THEY'RE HEAVY AND THE MAKE THE CAR HANDLE LIKE DOOKIE.  BUT IT MIGHT BE BETTER AFTER I RAISE THE CAR SOME AND PUT THE CAMBER KITS. 

PLANNING TO GO E85 SO I'M GOING TO GET SOME BIGGER INJECTORS AND HAVE THE ECU FLASHED SO THE CAR RUNS LIKE IT WAS MADE TO RUN FOR THOSE INJECTORS.  THEN I PLAN ON GETTING A E85 CONVERTER BOX SO I WILL HAVE A E85 FLEX FUELED GST! 

THE SAME WHEEL BEARING I REPLACED IS NOW GOING BAD ALSO, IT HAS SOME SLIGHT PLAY IN IT.  REPLACED IT WITH MY LAST ONE THAT I HAD LYING AROUND. 

TRYING TO GET A BASELINE DYNO RUN BEFORE I GO WITH THE E85 SETUP TO SEE WHERE I'M AT RIGHT NOW. 

INSTALLED NARDI CLASSIC STEERING WHEEL AND RELOCATED THE CRIUSE CONTROL LEVEL AND GOT THE HORN WORKING.

WAS GOING TO USE THE CAR FOR AUTOCROSS BUT I MAY JUST SELL IT NOW.  THINKING OF BUYING A 1G AWD FOR AUTOCROSS INSTEAD.  UNINSTALLED NARDI WHEEL AND INSTALLED STOCK WHEEL.  I'M THINKING OF WIRING IN THE AIRBAG TO GET RID OF THE SRS LIGHT.  FOR SOME REASON THE BRAKE LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON.

SO FAR I HAVE SWAPPED: DECK, AMP, AUTOMETER BOOST AND AF RATIO GAUGE, TURBO TIMER, BRAKES, REAR STRUT BAR, RACING HARNESS, HEADLIGHT BULBS, LEATHER SHIFT KNOB, AND NEUSPEED STRUT BAR.

CAR RUNS GREAT 10 PSI IS FUN TO PLAY WITH AND STILL GETS 25 MPG! 

ON AUGUST 27, 2007 I RAN THE CAR ON A DYNAPACK DYNO AT AGGRESSIVE PERFORMANCE IN SAN JOSE, ITS ONE OF THOSE DYNOS WHERE IT HOOKS UP DIRECTLY TO THE AXLES.  IT PULLED A MAX 211.7 HP AND 210.5 FT/LBS @ 10-11 PSI. 

I THINK I'LL BE NEEDING A NEW CLUB IN THE FUTURE, THE CLUTCH HAS BEEN SLIPPIN PARTICULARLY WHEN ITS COLD AT FULL BOOST BECAUSE OF ALL THAT EXTRA HORSEPOWER.  LOOKING INTO GETTING A SOUTHBEND CLUTCH.  CLUTCHES FOR THIS CAR ARE TOO EXPENSIVE =(.  FOR NOW JUST CAN'T DO ANY 2ND GEAR AT FULL BOOST.  LAG IT LAGS FOREVER, I MISS HICOMP TURBO, MAYBE IF I CAN GET MY HANDS ON A STRAIGHT T3 I'LL RUN THAT INSTEAD,

THE Z'S T3 IS PERFECT OF COURSE ITS GOT 2 MORE CYLINDERS. 

EBRAKE CABLE IS GETTING LOOSE MIGHT NEED TO REPLACE THE CABLE.

I WAS UNDER THE CAR AND I NOTICED THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE CV BOOT HAS A TINY HOLE IN IT, ENOUGH TO LEAK GREASE.  I JUST BOUGHT THOSE LIKE 3000 MILES AGO, WHATS UP WITH THIS CRAP WINCHESTER AUTO SOLD ME, I'M GOING TO TRY TO GET THEM TO REPLACE IT UNDER WARRANTY.  I'LL TRY AND NOT DRIVE THE CAR TOO MUCH TILL THEN.

CAR HAS BEEN RUNNING GREAT BEEN GETTING 22-25 MPG I THINK ITS BECAUSE OF THE COLD WEATHER. 

THE CAR IS TUNED PRETTY WELL I RAN IT PRETTY HARD DURING A COLD MORNING AND HIT 1550 F GASP PRETTY HOT BECAUSE OF THE COLD WEATHER IT WAS RUNNING HOTTER THE MIXTURE WAS PERFECT THOUGH JUST GOTTA BE CAREFUL. 

JUST CHANGED THE OIL TO MOBIL-1 SYNTHETIC 10W-30, SINCE IT HASN'T BEEN LOSING OIL THAT MUCH, IT SEEMS TO LEAK FROM THE OIL FILTER FOR SOME REASON I THINK IT LOOSENS ITSELF SOMEHOW I'LL TIGHTEN IT EVERY COUPLE HUNDRED MILES.

SOME DUMBASS SIDESWIPED MY CAR THERES A SMALL WHITE MARK NEAR THE REAR OF MY SIDESKIRT.  THIS IS THE SECOND TIME SOMEONE HAS RUBBED UP ON MY CAR. 

ORDERED A 2.72" RING AND 3.62" DISC FROM VORTECH ENGINEERING.  I ALSO ORDERED A NEW DIAPHRAGM JUST IN CASE BUT THE ONE I HAVE IS STILL GOOD.  INSTALLED THE 2.72 DISC RING COMBO AND NOW IT GETS ALL THE FUEL IT WANTS.  IT HAS THAT FLAT SPOT DURING INITIAL BOOST STILL BUT IT NEVER DIPS INTO THE STOICHIOMETRIC REGION OF THE O2 SENSOR GAUGE.  IT RUNS PIG RICH UNDER WOT FOR THE MOST PART NOW.  I TUNED IT DOWN TO ABOUT -1 AND -2 ONE THE SAFC AND I THINK I'M PRETTY CLOSE NEED TO DRIVE IT MORE TO FIND OUT BUT IT SEEMS MUCH HAPPIER NOW. 

RESOLDERED PYROMETER GAUGE POWER WIRE IT WAS LOOSE AND JUMPING AROUND, THE O2 SENSOR IS GOING OUT ON ME ALSO AFTER SO LONG, I CHECKED THE WIRING AND FROM WHAT I CAN SEE IT LOOKS GOOD I THINK I FOUND THE GROUND AND IT LOOKED KINDA LOOSE SO I STRIPPED SOME MORE WIRE AND REMOUNTED IT.

INSTALLED BOOST CONTROLLER AND FOR SOME REASON IT WASN'T GETTING ENOUGH FUEL ANYTHING PAST 4 PSI.  FOUND OUT I'M RUNNING THE WRONG DISC/RING COMBO, I WAS ACTUALLY RUNNING THE 2.25" DISC WHEN I'M SUPPOSE TO BE RUNNING THE 2.72" DISC I PUT THE 2.52 DISC IN THERE SINCE I DON'T HAVE A 2.72" RING, I'LL HAVE TO ORDER ONE FROM VORTECH THAT AND A 3.62 I GUESS. 

THEN I'LL NEED TO GET A BLEED VALVE TO FINE TUNE THE FUEL CURVE.  RIGHT NOW I HAVE IT WHERE I CAN ENRICH WOT WITH THE SAFC, ITS AT ABOUT +5, IT SHOULD BE FINE WHEN I GET THE 2.72 RING BUT IT RUNS FOR NOW JUST IT HAS FLAT SPOT WHEN THE BOOST KICKS IN. 

BLED THE BRAKES, STILL MUSHY I THINK I NEED SPEED BLEEDERS THE VACUUM PUMP JUST DOENS'T CUT IT ANYMORE. 

CHECKED ALL BOLTS ON THE TURBO AND MANIFOLD ALL CHECKED OUT GOOD.  OIL NOT A DROP LOST.  COOLANT NOT A DROP LOST.  TIRES WERE A LOW ON AIR THE FRONTS WERE UNDER INFLATED I CAN SEE THE WEAR. 

INSTALLED A CDX-GT200 SONY DECK, PIECE OF CAKE NO MORE USING MP3 PLAYERS AND CASSETTE ADAPTERS!  I MANAGED TO FIND ONE ON EBAY FOR LIKE 20 BUX BECAUSE IT DIDN'T HAVE A FACE FORTUNATELY I COULD USE THE ONE FROM THE Z ^_^.

I GOT AIR IN THE BRAKE LINES CUZ I OVERHEATED THE BRAKES GOING DOWN HIGHWAY 09 -_-',  STILL NEEDS TO BE BLED. 

ENGINE IS BROKEN IN INSTALLED TURBO.  I HAD SOME ISSUES WITH THE EGT PROBE, SINCE I HAD TAKEN THE FITTING OUT THE HOLE ENLARGED SO THE PROBE FITTING WOULDN'T SCREW INTO THE MANIFOLD ANYMORE SO WITH MY NEW WELDING SKILLS I WELDED THE FITTING ON, TURNED OUT GOOD EXCEPT THE FITTING WAS INSTALLED ANGLED TOWARDS THE REAR OF THE CAR SLIGHTING SO NOW IT RUBS ON THE WATER PIPE NOW >.<  I CUT A SECTION OF THE DUMP TUBE OUT AND INSTALLED A FLEX PIPE (ERR FLEXIBLE TAILPIPE SECTION) IN THERE, IT DOESN'T SEAL QUITE WELL BUT THAT'S OK IF IT LEAKS IT'S A GOOD WAYS FROM THE O2 SENSOR AND EXHAUST ONLY REALLY COMES OUT OF THAT PIPE WHEN THE CAR IS IN BOOST.  I PUT THE CAR THROUGH SOME TORTURE TESTING ONE DAY DOING SOME WANGAN MIDNIGHT ACTION ON THE FREEWAY IN THE RAIN NO LESS WITH ALMOST CONSTANT BOOST AND THE FUEL SYSTEM IS TOTALLY ABLE TO HANDLE 4 PSI. 

FOR SOME REASON THE STATIC FUEL PRESSURE WAS A LITTLE HIGH LIKE IN THE 28PSI AREA SO I LOWERED IT BACK DOWN TO 22PSI.  GOING TO INSTALL BOOST CONTROLLER VERY SOON AND INCREASE BOOST TO 8 PSI. 

TOOK THE CAR TO CHEVRON NEAR MY PLACE AND HAD NEW SEALS PUT IN, THEY FOUND OUT THAT THE AXLES I INSTALLED WERE DIFFERENT FROM THE ONES I HAD BEFORE THAT'S THE REASON THEY WERE LEAKING.  -1 POINT FOR WINCHESTER AUTO FOR SELLING ME AN AXLE SHAFT WITH DIFFERENT SEAL SIZE.  SO FAR IT LOOK GOOD NO LEAKS HARD TO TELL THOUGH BUT IT WAS LEAKING PRETTY BAD BEFORE HAD NEW BG SYNCROSHIFT INSTALLED. 

DID A COMPRESSION TEST AND 190 ACROSS THE CYLINDERS I THINK THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH TESTER THOUGH I DON'T THINK IT AS HIGH AS 190PSI.

TOPPED OFF TRANNY FLUID, SOME KIND OF SEAL IS LEAKING TRANSMISSION FLUID, COULD BE HALF SHAFT SEALS o_O'  1ST AND 2ND GEAR AREN'T FEELING TOO BEEFY ANYMORE, TRANNY MIGHT BE ON ITS WAY OUT.

JUST FINISHED IT UP TODAY AND FINALLY THE CAR MADE IT AROUND THE BLOCK.  NOW THE BREAK IN BEGINS, SEEMS LIKE ITS RUNNING FINE. 

FOR SOME REASON MY STARTER DOESN'T START UP I'M GONNA HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE HARNESS AND SEE IF EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED TIGHT, I KEEP A JUMPER CABLE IN THE CAR NOW SO I CAN HOT WIRE THE STARTER MYSELF. 

CAR HAS CURRENT REGISTRATION NOW I NEED INSURANCE SO I CAN DRIVE IT.

WIRED UP A MOMENTARY SWITCH NEAR THE IGNITION SWITCH TO ACT AS A BACKUP START SWITCH.  SOMETIMES THE CAR STARTS WITH THE KEY AND SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T ITS A MYSTERY TO ME.  SO FAR NO OIL OR WATER HAS COME UP MISSING.

I ACCIDENTALLY HAD THE DRAIN LINE FOR THE TURBO STUCK BETWEEN THE FAN BLDES AND THE MOTOR STARTED SMOKING DIDN'T NOTICED IT TILL I PUT MY FINGER OVER THE LITTLE VENT AND THE SMOKE STOPPED.  GOOD THING I NOTICED THE FAN STILL WORKS HOPE I DIDN'T MESS IT UP.  GOT AN OPERATING PERMIT YESTERDAY JUST NEED INSURANCE.  NOW 1000 MILES AND A SMOG CHECK, IF IT DOESN'T PASS THE CARS GONNA GO... 

GOT A NEW SUB A POLK AUDIO 10" SUB STILL NEED TO INSTALL IT.

OH THE HORROR TRIED TO DRIVE THE CAR OUT OF THE GARAGE AND THE CLUTCH DOESN'T DISENGAGE.  I BLEED THE CLUTCH LIKE 8 TIMES AND ADJUST THE MASTER CYLINDER ROD OUT MORE TO GIVE IT MORE TRAVEL AND THE CLUTCH WILL STILL NOT DISENGAGE ENOUGH FOR THE TRANNY TO GO IN GEAR.  APPARENTLY THE SPEC STAGE 3 CLUTCH I BOUGHT ON 2GNT WAS BAD, IT LOOK FINE BUT IT JUST WON'T DISENGAGE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE PRESSURE PLATE.  TRIED TO REMOVE THE TRANNY WITHOUT TAKING THE ENGINE OUT ITS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE SO I WOUND UP PULLING THE ENGINE OUT.  TOOK ME ABOUT A WEEK TO TAKE IT BACK OUT, CHANGE THE CLUTCH BACK TO OLD LUK CLUTCH AND PUT IT BACK IN.

GOT THE ENGINE OUT IN 3 DAYS,

I GOT TO THE PLUGS AND INSTALLED THEM I HOPE I DIDN'T INSTALL THEM TOO DEEP IN THERE.  I KNOW ONE OF THEM THERE WAS AN OIL PASSAGE KINDA CLOSE, BUT THERE ARE THESE STOPS IN THE HOLES SO HOPEFULLY IT STOPPED THERE.  I PUT SOME RTV JUST TO BE SURE ALSO.  HOPEFULLY NO LEAKS NOW. 

PUT EVERYTHING BACK TOGETHER AND PUT THE ENGINE IN THE CAR.  GOT THE AXLES IN ALSO JUST NEED TO HOOK EVERYTHING ELSE UP AND FIRE HER UP.

MY WORST NIGHTMARE HAS COME TRUE.  OK HERE'S THE STORY...  WELL I FINALLY GET THE CAR ALL BACK TOGETHER SEEMS LIKE ITS BEEN TAKING FOREVER WITH MIDTERMS AND ALL.  I GOT IT TO THE POINT WHERE I CAN FINALLY START IT, STILL UP ON THE STANDS AND MISSING A WHEEL BUT ITS NEARLY THERE.  GOOD THING I DIDN'T INSTALL THE HOOD YET.  HAD SOME TROUBLE STARTING IT UP BECAUSE I PUT THE BATTERY FOR THE ECLIPSE IN THE Z SO I HOOK JUMPER CABLES UP TO THE Z AND CRANK IT LIKE THAT.  CAR CRANKS A COUPLE TIMES AND THEN IT COMES TO LIFE.  WOOHOO AFTER NEARLY HALF A YEAR ITS ALIVE AGAIN BUT WAIT....  WHY ISN'T THE LOW OIL PRESSURE LIGHT GOING OFF AFTER LIKE 20 SECONDS?!  I SHUT THE CAR OFF AND LOOK AROUND AND THERE IS OIL ALL OVER THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CAR!  I READ ABOUT THIS HAPPENING ON THE 2GNT FORUM A WHILE BACK SOMEONE HAD FORGOTTEN TO PUT SOME OIL PLUGS BACK IN AND OIL EVERYWHERE SAME SITUATION I WAS IN.  I KNOW I DIDN'T INSTALL THE OIL PUMP WRONG AND I KNOW I PUT THAT DAMN PINK ORING BACK IN.  THEN I LOOKED IT UP AGAIN AND ITS SUPPOSE TO BE ON TOP OF THE PUMP SOMEWHERE.  UNFORTUNATELY I DIDN'T TAKE ANY PICTURES OF WHERE THE PLUG IS THIS TIME AROUND BUT I DID HAVE A PICTURE OF IT FROM REBUILD 01.  AND SURE ENOUGH THE PLUG IS IN THERE.  THEN I LEARN THAT MAYBE THE MACHINE SHOP TOOK THE OIL PLUG OFF WHEN THEY MACHINED THE BLOCK.  WELL VICTORY AUTOMOTIVE MACHINE SHOULD HAVE:  REPLACED THE OIL SEAL, SHOULD HAVE GIVEN ME BACK THE PLUG THEY TOOK OFF OF MY BLOCK IN THAT BOX OF PARTS THEY TOOK OFF OF MY BLOCK, OR THEY SHOULD HAVE INFORMED THAT THEY TOOK IT OFF AND I HAVE TO PUT A NEW ONE IN.  NOPE NONE OF THAT ON TOP OF POTENTIALLY FUCKING UP MY CRANKSHAFT BY NOT USING ANAEROBIC SEALANT ON MY BEDPLATE OR PUTTING THE BEDPLATE O-RING BACK IN THEIR SHOP CAN JUST ROT IN HELL NOW.  I WILL SEND A COMPLAINT TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BEUREU.  ANYWAY ITS GETS BETTER.  I LEARN THAT THERE IS INDEED ANOTHER PLUG THE SHOP MAYBE HAVE TAKEN OFF IN THE BACK OF THE BLOCK THIS TIME.  I LOOK UNDER THE CAR WHERE THE BELLHOUSING MEETS THE BLOCK AND SURE ENOUGH I SEE DROPS OF OIL COMING FROM THE BELLHOUSING.  SO THIS CAN GO ONE OF TWO WAYS.  I DROP THE ENGINE A BIT AND TAKE THE PULLEY, TMING BELT COER, TIMING BELT REAR COVER, REPLACE THE FRONT PLUG, THEN TAKE THE TRANNY OFF (INVOLVES TAKING THE HALF SHAFTS OFF) AND REPLACE THE PLUG.  OR I CAN TAKE THE ENGINE OUT AGAIN AND REPLACE THE PLUGS.  SEEING AS HOW IT A PAIN EITHER WAY BUT PROBABLY BEST IF I TAKE THE ENGINE OUT AGAIN CUZ ITS REALLY THAT MUCH MORE WORK AND IT'LL BE EASIER TO REPLACE IT.  AT LEAST I DON'T NEED TO TAKE THE HEAD OR MANIFOLDS OFF BUT THAT'S ALL THE FREEBIES I GET.

DROPPED ENGINE BACK INTO CAR MAN ITS A BITCH OK TAKE ALL THE MOUNT OFF, DROP IT THROUGH THEN PUT THE MOUNTS ON ONE AT A TIME AND LIFT. 

INSTALLED SCREAMIN DEMON COIL PACK, SPARK PLUG WIRES, AND INSTALLED NEW FUEL FILTER. 

INSTALLED SHIFTER LINKAGES AND CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER.  WORKS 50% DONE ALL DOWN HILL FROM HERE!

CLEANED OIL DEPOSITS OFF OF HEAD, LOTSA OIL TOO FOREVER TO CLEAN. 

INSTALLED ARP HEADSTUDS.  INSTALLED HEAD.  ISNTALLED WATERPUMP. 

INSTALLED CAMS, HAD TO HELICOIL ONE CAM CAP -_- CAN'T SAY I'VE NEVER USED A HELICOIL NOW. 

INSTALLED TIMING BELT, AND COVERS.

WELL GOT THE BLOCK BACK FROM THE MACHINE SHOP, THEY SAID THAT THEY HAD TROUBLE FINDING THE ROD BEARINGS WHICH IS WIERD.  ANYWAY GOT IT BACK AND GUESS WHAT THEY DIDN'T SEAL THE BEDPLATE WITH ANAEROBIC SEALANT, SO I TORE IT APART TO THE CRANK I LEFT THE PISTONS IN THERE WITH ATTACHEDT TO THE CRANK.  CLEANED THE GASKET SURFACES SUPERCLEAN AND BOUGHT A NEW TUBE OF SEALANT.  TO MY SURPRISE THEY DIDN'T PUT THE ORING BACK THAT GOES BETWEEN THE BEDPLATE AND BLOCK SO I WOULDA BEEN IN FOR A BAD LEAK NOT TO MENTION A BAD CRANKSHAFT.  ORDERED THE O-RING FROM STEVENS CREEK MITSUBISHI WAITING ON IT.  TOOK CAMS OUT TO GET THE HEAD BOLTS OUT.  TWO OF THE CAM JOURNALS ARE PRETTY SCARRED.  I HOPE IT'LL BE FIND I JUST REBUILT THAT THING.  JUST GIMME ANOTHER 100K AND I'LL BE HAPPY.  WELL PAID 900 BUX FOR THE SHOP TO DO ALL THE WORK ON THE SHORTBLOCK AND THATS WHAT I GET NOT WHAT I PAID FOR, HAD TO UNDO MOST OF THE ASSEMBLY WORK :(  NEVER GOING TO VICTORY MACHINE AGAIN.  >.<  JUST GOES TO SHOW IF YOU WANT SOMETHING DONE RIGHT DO IT YOURSELF.

TOOK THE SHORTBLOCK TO VICTORY AUTOMOTIVE MACHINE AND THEY QUOTED ME 800 DOLLARS FOR ALL THE WORK SAME AS THE OTHER SHOP PRETTY MUCH HE SAID THAT SINCE HE HAS TO TAKE THE BLOCK APART AND EVERYTHING AND REASSEMBLE IT SO ITS TAKE MORE TIME AND MONEY.  ARGHH WHATEVER AS LONG AS IT GETS DONE I'M TIRED OF WATCHING IT SIT IN THE GARAGE.  I GUESS IF TWO SHOPS CHARGE THE SAME THING THEN ITS GOTTA BE THE STANDARD PRICE AROUND.  I JUST HOPE THIS DUDE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING SINCE HE MOSTLY WORKS ON MUSCLE CAR ENGINES HE THOUGHT IT HAD A BALANCE SHAFT, I HOPE HE ALSO KNOWS HE'S GOTTA USE ANEAROBIC SEALANT ON IT.

GOT THE ENGINE OUT I BROKE A MOTOR MOUNT TAKING IT OUT GOTTA FIND ANOTHER ONE. 

GOT MY SPEC STAGE 3 CLUTCH.  GOT MY HASTING PISTON RINGS.  JUST WAITING ON THE MELLING OIL PUMP EXILERACING.COM IS TAKING HELLA LONG TO SHIP IT. 

THE ENGINE IS IN SHORTBLOCK FORM RIGHT NOW, JUST WAITING ON A PUMP SO I CAN TAKE IT TO THE MACHINE SHOP.  GOT THE OIL PUMP NEED TO FIND A MACHINE SHOP ONE SHOP QUOTED ME 600 DOLLARS TO BORE AND HONE THE BLOCK AND 200 MORE FOR ASSEMBLY WHICH I THINK IS WAY TOO MUCH.  BOUGHT NEW AXLES.

LOOKING FOR PERFORMANCE CLUTCH.  CAR IS IN THE GARAGE WAITING TO BE TAKEN APART.  HAVE THE CAR CURRENTLY 50% APART, NEEDS TO TAKE MOTOR MOUNTS OFF, HOOD, AC COMPRESSOR, AND CROSSMEMBER.  NOTICED BOTH MY OUTER CV BOOTS ARE TORN AND LEAKING SO I'LL REPLACE THE EITHER THE BOOTS OR JUST SWAP THE AXLES OUT FOR SOME NEW ONES.  NOW I KNOW WHAT ALL THAT GREASE WAS IN MY WHEEL WELLS AND RIMS o_O'  BOUGHT A SET OF 8.8:1 0.020 OVER JE PISTONS FOR A PRETTY GOOD DEAL WITH TOTAL SEAL RINGS.  GONNA SELL THE TOTAL SEAL RINGS THOUGH AND ORDERED SOME HASTING CHROME PISTON RINGS AND A MELLING OIL PUMP.  I'LL NEED TO GET A NEW REAR MAIN SEAL ALSO SINCE I DIDN'T REPLACE IT LAST TIME.

BOUGHT A BUILT 8.8:1 SHORTBLOCK FOR 1000 DOLLARS ALREADY ASSEMBLED, HOPEFULLY THIS WILL HELP ME PASS SMOG AND STOP MY OIL CONSUMPTION.  GOODBYE HICOMP TURBO PROJECT -_-

PLAN IS TO SWAP THE SHORTBLOCK MYSELF, BUT THE GUY THAT'S SELLING MY THE BLOCK IS LAGGING -_-  CAR IS SITTING IN MY GARAGE DOING NOTHING AWAITING TO BE DISMANTLED.  STILL WAITING FOR ENGINE, THE GUY IS LAGGING BIGTIME.  GOING TO FILE MAKE IT NON-OP FOR NOW UNTIL I REBUILD THE ENGINE.

WON'T PASS SMOG I RAN TWO DIFFERENT GRADES OF GAS (100 OCTANE RACE GAS AND 87 CHEVRON WITH ETHENOL), CHANGED O2 SENSOR TO A BRAND NEW DENSO ONE, AND IT STILL WON'T PASS.  I'M GOING TO CHANGE THE CAT TO THE STOCK ONE HOPEFULLY THIS WILL SOLVE MY PROBLEM CUZ THE NUMBERS ARE WAY HIGHER THAN THEY USED TO BE AND I'M THINKING THAT EXTRA COUPLE THOUSAND MILES OF OIL BURNING GOODNESS HAS KILLED MY 3 INCH CAT, I DON'T THINK THE 3 INCH CAT GETS HOT ENOUGH TO BURN EVERYTHING IT COOLS DOWN TOO FAST. 

 

AFTER THAT I TAKE IT TO A SHOP TO HAVE THEM FIX IT.  I'M CONTEMPLATING GETTING A GST NOW AND SWAPPING OUT THE PARTS FROM THE RS THIS IS GETTING FRUSTRATING.  I WANT A SHOP TO INSTALL THE ENGINE BECAUSE I'M BUSY WITH SCHOOL AND I'M KINDA BURNT OUT ON WORKING ON THE CARS.  BUT I MIGHT INSTALL IT MYSELF SINCE I KNOW THIS ENGINE BETTER THAN ANYONE I KNOW.

STARTED PULLING INTERCOOLER AND RETURNED ENGINE TO STOCK.  JUST NEED TO INSTALL J-PIPE AND I'LL BE FINISHED THEN OFF TO THE SMOG REF I GO.  GOT MY NOTICE TO RENEW MY REGISTRATION AND SMOG.  I HOPE THE ENGINE IS STILL RUNNING CLEAN =)  96,000 ON THE ODOMETER ALMOST TIME FOR A ROLLOVER PARTY!

INSTALLED NEW LOWER BALL JOINTS AND OUTER STEERING BALLJOINTS.  GREASED THEM UP GOOD. 

INSTALLED A 7/8" FRONT SWAY BAR. 

INSTALLED KONIG REWIND WHEELS FINALLY. 

INSTALLED 1" PIPE PLUG. 

STRENGTHENED CIVIC STRUT BAR. 

BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH BOOST CONTROLLER, MIGHT JUST KEEP IT AT 7 PSI FOR NOW,

INSTALLED THE DARK BROWN TURBO INJECTORS SEE IF IT RUNS BETTER, IF THE MILEAGE IS WORSE I'LL PUT THE TEAL ONES BACK ON.  SEEMS TO RUN RICH ALL THE TIME NOW. 

BEEN HAVING SOME OVERHEATING PROBLEMS WITH THAT THERMOSTATIC FAN CONTROLLER I INSTALLED A WHILE BACK.  ALMOST GOT TO 3/4 ON THE GAUGE O_o.

 CAR IS PRETTY MUCH DONE.

NEED TO GET A 1" PIPE PLUG SO I CAN INCREASE THE BOOST TO 10 PSI. 

INSTALLED MX-3 SEAT AFTER ELONGATING THE HOLES PERFECT FIT! 

INSTALLED SCHROTH AUTOLOCK HARNESS, THE RETRACTOR IS KINDA CLOSE TO THE SEAT I MIGHT NEED TO FABRICATE A BRACKET TO MOVE IT FARTHER BACK ITS KINDA LOOSE I LIKE IT REALLY TIGHT.  I WIRED THE RETRACTOR TO THE DEFROSTER SWITCH BECAUSE IT DOESN'T WORK ANYWAY AND I SWITCHED THE LIGHT TO HE FASTEN SEATBELT LIGHT HEHE. 

FINISHED SANDING REAR SPOILER AND PRIMERED IT BLACK.  I PARKED THE Z OUTSIDE ONE DAY TO WASH IT IN THE RAIN AND AFTER IT DRIED I NOTICED THE BLACK SCREWS I USED TO HOLD THE FLARES IN STARTED RUSTING SO I ORDERED THE SAME TYPE OF BOLTS BUT ARE STAINLESS STEEL I GOOFED UP AND DIDN'T ORDER ENOUGH SO I HAVE FOUR BOLTS IN THE BACK THAT ARE STILL BLACK AND WILL STILL RUST =(  I'M GOING TO TRY TO FIND SOMEPLACE THAT IS LOCAL THAT HAS THE SS BOLTS BECAUSE BOLT DEPOT CHARGES A GRIP FOR BOLTS NO MATTER HOW MANY YOUR BUY. 

INSTALLED KUMO ECSTA 711 225/50/15 TIRES ON THE REWINDS.  GOT GORILLA TUNER LUGS.  JUST NEED NEW BALLJOINTS AND AN ALIGNMENT AND ITS GOOD TO GO!  THE END OF PROJECT Z IS NEARING!

INSTALLED REAR QUICKOR SPRINGS, SOMEWHAT EASIER THAN THE FRONT INSTALL.  PREVIOUS OWNER DID SOME GOOFY THINGS WITH THE SHOCKS THE INSULATOR PART WAS A DIFFERENT ONE THAT DIDN'T ACCEPT A DUST BOOT SO THE I DECIDED TO NOT USE A SHOCK BOOT FOR THE REARS.  ONE SIDE DIDN'T HAVE A BUMPSTOP AND THE OTHER'S HAD DETERIORATED INTO NOTHING.  CUT THE RUBBER BUMPSTOP I FOUND ON THE FRONTS AND SPLIT THEM AMONG THE BACK. 

ALMOST DONE INTALLING MX-3 SEAT, THE SEAT BARELY FITS BUT IT LOOKS GREAT.  THE FRONT PART OF THE CUSHION IS KINDA HIGH AND I HAVE TO RECLINE TO TO GET THE RIGHT DRIVING POSITION.  I HAD TO WELD TWO 1/4" THICK STEAL BEAMS ACROSS THE BOTTOM TO MOUNT THE STOCK SLIDERS ON.  NEED TO ELONGATE ONE HOW TO GET IT TO FIT.  VERY TIGHT FIT AND THE SEAT IS TILTED TO ONE SIDE BECAUSE THE BRACKETS ARE STRAIGHT. 

SCHROTH AUTOLOCK HARNESS INSTALLED NOT WIRED UP YET THOUGH. 

INSTALLED VETERAN'S LICENSE PLATES. 

ORDERED SOME OPEN END GORILLA TUNER LUGS FOR REWINDS.

NRG SEAT DIDN'T FIT THE SIDE BOLSTERS ARE TOO BIG AND HIT THE DOOR, THE WHOLE SEAT WILL NOT FIT WHERE THE BRACKETS ARE SO I'M GOING TO SELL THE SEAT.  TOO BAD ITS A NICE SEAT MAYBE ONCE THE GSX SEAT IS ALL TORN UP I'LL INSTALL IT IN THE ECLIPSE. 

GOT A MAZDA MX-3 SEAT SAW THEM IN THE JUNKYARD AND THOUGH THEY WERE REALLY NICE ITS DARK BLUE ALSO AND NO TEARS, HAS THE HOLE FOR THE HARNESS TOO.  THE MOUNTS ARE ON THE BOTTOM ALSO. 

INSTALLED THE FRONT QUICKOR SPRINGS, BUMP STEER  SPACERS, AND ILLUMINA SHOCKS.  NOTICED THAT THE BALL JOINTS HAVE NO BOOTS ON THEM ANYMORE WILL HAVE TO REPLACE THEM LATER.  THE CAR WILL BE ONE IN LOWER o_O' STILL NEED TO INSTALL THE REARS, THAT SHOULDN'T BE TOO HARD THOUGH. 

THE SWAY BAR MOUNTS ON THE FRONT HAVE CORRODED AWAY I'LL HAVE TO RETAP THEM OR DRILL EM OUT AND WELD A NUT IN THERE.

DRILLED OUT DRIVERS SIDE SPOILER MOUNT SO I COULD MOUNT IT WITH THE NUT. 

FINISHED INSTALLING FRONT FLARES, USED SMALLER SCREWS AND WASHERS BECAUSE ITS MUCH THINNER THAN THE REAR.  FOUND OUT THAT THE 280Z HAS THIS FLATTER FENDER THAN THE 240Z BECAUSE IT HAS THAT SIDE TRIM SO THE FLAIRS KIND OF DON'T CURVE PROPERLY, NOTICEABLE IF YOU LOOKED IT CLOSE. 

BOUGHT A NRG BRIDE COPY RACING SEAT FOR 150, INSTALLED THE STOCK BRACKETS ON THEM BECAUSE THE ONES THAT COME WITH THE SEAT DON'T LOOK AS STURDY.  DRILLED HOLES AND MOUNTED THEM, THE SEATS MOUNTS ARE A BIT WIDER THAN THE STOCK ONES SO I MAY HAVE TO WELD A SMALL PLATE ON TO EXTEND THE MOUNT INWARD MORE.  I SHOULD PROBABLY INSTALL THE SCROTH HARNESS SOON. 

NEXT STEP IS TO INSTALL THE QUICKOR SPRINGS AND TOKIKO SHOCKS, THEN INSTALL THE KONIG REWINDS THAT HAVE BEEN SITTING IN MY GARAGE FOREVER.

REINSTALLED BUMPER, MAN IT LOOKS SEXY. 

TAPED FENDERS UP.  DRILLED HOLES IN FRONT FLAIRS.  NEXT STEP IS TO TRACE THE FLAIRS, IT LOOKS LIKE ITS GOING TO BEND A LOT, THE FLAIRS DON'T SEEM TO FIT PERFECTLY.

CAR WAS SITTING FOR A WHILE.  FINISHED SEALING QUARTER PANELS WITH JB WELD AND SPRAYED THEM WITH SOME RUBBERIZED UNDERCOATING.  SPRAYED THE BACK OF THE FENDER FLARE ALSO SO IT WON'T SCRATCH THE PAINT.  NEED TO GET 2 LONGER BOLTS AND 2 SMALLER BOLTS BUT FOR THE MOST PART THEY'RE ON THERE AND THEY SEXY!  NOW I HAVE A HELLA BIG WHEEL GAP THOUGH =P  NEED TO DO THE FRONT.  THAT RUST BUBBLE I FOUND ON THE BOTTOM OF THE CAR I STRIPPED OF SOME OF THE BUBBLE AND STARTED PICKING AT THE RUSTED METAL AND THEN A PUNCHED A HOLE IN IT >.<'  I'LL HAVE TO GIVE IT A THOROUGH CLEANING AND PATCH IT UP WITH SOME FIBER GLASS.  I FIGURE THATS A SPOT WHERE A LOTTA WATER HITS SO BONDO WOULDN'T BE SUCH A GOOD IDEA THERE.   INSTALLED BOOST CONTROLLER, I ACCIDENTALLY HAD IT TURNED UP ALL THE WAY UP I KNEW SOMETHING WAS UP WHEN I HEARD A POP AND LOUD WHOOSHING SOUNDS.  THE POP-OFF VALVE WAS OPENING UP BECAUSE OF ALL THE EXTRA BOOST.  GOING TO HAVE TO DO THE WASHER MOD ON IT TO GET IT TO 10PSI BUT ITS WORKING HAPPILY AT 7 PSI.  I INSTALLED IT INSIDE THE CAR A LA WANGAN MIDNIGHT STYLE HEHE.  BRAKES BRAKE BETTER AFTER BLEEDING AND CHANGING OUT THAT BRAKE LINE.  FOR SOME REASON MY VOLT METER DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE I THINK I MUST'VE UNPLUGGED SOMETHING WHEN IT WAS SITTING BECAUSE IT WORKED FINE BEFORE, IF ANYTHING THE ONE ON MY TURBO TIMER STILL WORKS FINE.  15 VOLTS THOUGH ITS DEFINITELY OVERCHARGING A TAD.

NEED TO PAINT AND UNDERCOAT QUARTER PANELS.  ARGHH NEED MORE TIME TO WORK ON THE CAR! 

INSTALLED A 300ZX BRAKELINE I FOUND IN THE JUNKYARD TO REPLACE THAT CRACKED LINE, BLED BOTH REAR BRAKES.

INSTALLED ADAPTER NEED FLARES NOW.  BRE STYLE WING INSTALLED, STILL NEEDS TO BE PAINTED.  IN THE PROCESS OF INSTALLING REAR FENDER FLARES.  BOTH SIDES CUT.  DRIVER'S SIDE REAR HAS 2ND LAYER QUARTER PANEL ALL FOLDED AND TACK WELDED TOGETHER, HALF SEALED WITH JB WELD.  PASSENGER SIDE REAR QUARDER PANEL FULLY CUT, HALF FOLDED, HALF TACK WELDED NOT SEALED.  BOTH SIDES HAVE HOLES DRILLED FOR BOLTS.  WHILE WORKING ON THE FLARES I NOTICED ONE OF MY BRAKELINES IS CRACKING I'LL HAVE TO GET A NEW ONE OR HAVE SOME BRAIDED ONES MADE.

INSTALLED 240Z TURN SIGNALS INTO MY XENON AIRDAM.  ONE SIDE IS A LITLE CROOKED I CUT THE HOLE TOO BIG AT FIRST, APPARENTLY THE 280Z AIRDAM IS CURVED A LITTLE DIFFERENTLY AND THE LIGHTS STICK OUT A BIG.  OTHER THAN THAT IT LOOKS OK.

INSTALLED 1 INCH WHEEL ADAPTERS, NOW MY WHEELS RUB ON MY FENDERS I HAD TO SWAP OUT THOSE SWASTIKAS FOR SLOTS BECAUSE THE TIRES WERE TOO TALL ON THEM. 

I ALSO SPRUNG A SMALL LEAK ON MY RADIATOR, THAT DAMN TOW TRUCK DRIVER CURSE HIM.  ANYWAY I WAS PICKIN AT IT ONE DAY AND IT STARTED LEAKING.  OH WELL GOOD THING I FOUND OUT ABOUT IT NOW.  I GOTTA TAKE THE RADIATOR OUT AND SOLDER THE HOLES SHUT.

INSTALLED APEXI TURBO TIMER FINALLY IT WAS A REAL PAIN TO INSTALL.  APPARENTLY ITS DOESN'T FUNCTION LIKE A RELAY ITS MORE LIKE A POWER INTERVENTION BOX WHEN IT SENSES POWER IT TURNS THE TURBO TIMER ON AND WHEN IT LOSES POWER IT WILL PROVIDE ITS OWN POWER UNTIL ITS DONE COUNTING DOWN.  NOW I HAVE A A/F RATIO METER AS WELL.  I DON'T KNOW HOW ACCURATE IT IS, SO FAR IT SEZ THAT I'M IDLING GOOD, CRUISING AT STOICHIOMETRIC RATIO, AND RUN LEAN UNDER DECELLERATION AND FULL BOOST.  WHICH DOESN'T SOUND GOOD BUT MY EGT SEZ OTHERWISE.  SOMEONE ON THE THE ZCAR FORUM SAYS THAT THE O2 SENSOR WILL PUT OUT A 0V SIGNAL IF IT SEE'S TOO MUCH FUEL. 

I THINK I MAY HAVE FOUND THE CLUNK ALSO I THINK MY TRANNY MOUNT IS BAD OR NOT INSTALLED RIGHT, THE METAL PARTS ARE TOUCHING AND THE RUBBER ISN'T REALLY DOIN MUCH.  BUT IT IS TIGHT. 

INSTALLED NARDI STEERING WHEEL ALSO LOOKS BEAUTIFUL.

ANYWAY I PATCHED IT AGAIN AND IT WAS STILL LEAKING THEN I PUT 90 MPH TAPE ON IT (DUCT TAPE) AND IT SEEMS TO HAVE FIXED IT FOR NOW.

INSTALLED MSA 240Z ARMREST, FITS LIKE A CHARM I JUST BOLTED INSIDE THE TRAY MOVED IT UP A BIT. 

CHANGED STEREO POWER SWITCH TO CENTER OF THE CONSOLE NO MORE SHIFTER HITTING THE WIRING WHEN DRIVING AND KILLING THE STEREO, PLUS THE PLASTIC PART THAT HOLDS THE OLD SWITCH BROKE AND IT HUNG OUT THE CONSOLE LIKE A EYEBALL HANGING OUT OF ITS SOCKET. 

INSTALLED EBAY BRASS SHIFTER BUSHING.  UNFORTUNATELY EITHER NOT EVERY Z TRANNY IS MADE THE SAME OR THESE BUSHINGS WERE MACHINED TOO TIGHT.  AT LEAST ITS BETTER THAN TOO LOOSE HAD TO DRILL THE PIN HOLE OUT A BIT TO GET THE PIN THROUGH AND HAD TO GRIND THE OUTSIDES DOWN SO IT'D FIT.  MUCH LESS SHIFTER SLOP ITS GOT ITS NOTCHINESS BACK! 

ADDED A GREEN LIGHT TO THE FAN RELAY ON THE CONSOLE SO I KNOW WHEN THE ELECTRIC FAN IS ON.

 INSTALLED HKS BYPASS VALVE, JUST FOR KICKS I VENTED IT TO THE ATMOSPHERE SOUNDS SWEET CAR RAN A LITTLE FUNNY THOUGH.  HAHA WHEN I BYPASS IT I DON'T HEAR ANYTHING, BUT I NOTICE DURING SHIFT THERE SEEMS TO BE LESS LAG IN THE TRANSITION OF POWER IT SHIFTS, THE SHIFTS SMOOTH BETWEEN GEARS.  GOING TO SEE IF THIS AFFECTS MILEAGE HOPEFULY NOT IN A NEGATIVE WAY.

YAHOO FIXED THE PROBLEM AND PASSED SMOG!!!!  THE LAST THING I DID WAS MAKE THE CAR RUN HOTTER AND IT WORKED.  THE LAST MILEAGE I GOT WAS 18 MPG WHERE IT SHOULD BE.  TOOK IT TO THE SMOG STATION THE NEXT DAY AND IT PASSED!!!  IT PASSED BETTER THAN SOME NEWER CARS.  NOT BAD FOR A 30 YEAR OLD CAR IF I SAY SO MYSELF.  WENT TO DMV AND FINALLY STRAIGHTENED OUT THE REGISTRATION ISSUE AND GOT SOME NEW PLATES.  INSTALLED THE NEW PLATES AND PUT THE FRONT PLATE ON SO COPS WON'T BITCH.  INSTALLED INTAKE PIPE AND CONE FILTER, BYE BYE OEM FOR 2 YEARS ANYWAY.

CHANGED OUT CYLINDER HEAD TEMP SENSOR WITH A 76 COOLANT TEMP SENSOR THEN I BOUGHT BRAND NEW ONE FROM WINCHESTER AUTO.  CAR COLD STARTS NOW IDLES AT ABOUT 1500 WHEN COLD AND IT'LL GRADUALLY GO DOWN TO ABOUT 1000 RPM. 

STILL NO BETTER MILEAGE SO THE LAST THING I CHANGED WHEN I DID THE HEADGASKET CHANGE WAS THE RADIATOR FAN I REPLACED WITH AN ELECTRIC ONE.  A LOT OF PEOPLE ON ZCAR FORUM SAID I'M OVERCOOLING SO I'M GOING TO SEE IF THEY'RE RIGHT.   I BOUGHT THIS GHETTO LOOKING HAYDEN FAN THERMOSTAT FOR 20 BUX.  UNFORTUNATELY IT RUNS WITHOUT A RELAY SO I HAD TO TRICK MY PAINLESS WIRING RELAY.  THE WAY IT WORKS IS IT RECIEVES A SIGNAL FROM THE IGNITION THAT THE CAR IS ON AND IT WHEN THE WATER TEMP SENSOR REACHES 180F IT GROUNDS ITSELF.  SO WHAT I DID WAS WAS CONNECT THE IGNITION SWITCH TO THE HAYDEN THERMOSTAT AND THEN I CONNECTED THE SWITCH FROM THE PAINLESS WIRING RELAY TO THE THERMOSTAT COOLING FAN OUTPUT.  THE HAYDEM THERMO HAS ITS OWN PROP A PUSH IN ONE IN THE RADIATOR FINS SO THAT'S HOW IT SENSES HOW HOT IT GETS.  HERE'S HOW IT WORKS THE SWITCH GOES ON AND GIVES POWER TO THE HAYDEN THERMO, LEFT THE PAINLESS WIRING PROBE IN SO IT GROUND ITSELF AT 180F (DOESN'T MATTER CUZ ITS GOING TO BE SET TO RUN HOTTER), THEN WHEN THE HAYDEN PROBE REACHES THE SET TEMP IT TURN ON CLOSES THE CIRCUIT AND ENERGIZES THE 2ND TRIGGER WIRE FOR THE PAINLESS WIRING RELAY, SINCE BOTH WIRES HAVE SIGNAL THE RELAY TURNS ON THE FAN AND THERE WE GO.  THEN I ADJUSTED IT SO FAN WILL TURN ON AT ABOUT THE MIDDLE OF THE TEMP GAUGE, I SET IT SO IT WOULD GO A LITTLE BIG MORE THAN HALF WHICH KIND OF WORRIES ME BUT WHEN THE FAN KICKS ON IT GOES DOWN ABOUT 20 DEGREES SO IT NEEDS TO BE KINDA HIGH.  JUST TO PREVENT FROM OVERHEATING. 

TOOK THE CAR ON A CRUISE TO MT HAMILTON AND IT SEEMS TO BE GETTING GOOD MILEAGE GETS EGTS IN THE 1400S ON THE FREEWAY JUST NEED TO DRIVE IT TO SCHOOL A COUPLE TIMES AND CHECK THE MILEAGE.  IF AFTER THIS I CAN'T GET TO 18 MPG OR ANYTHING CLOSE TO IT I'M TAKING IT TO A SHOP LIKE SCOTT PERFORMANCE AND HAVE THEM FIGURE IT OUT.

CHECKED THE O2 SENSOR OUT AND IT SEEMS TO BE DOING IT'S JOB.  PUT STOCK J PIPE ON AND TOOK BOV PORT OFF.  INSTALLED MY MYSTERY INJECTORS CAR SEEMS TO RUN LEANER IT'LL EASILY GO TO 1400F ON THE FREEWAY o_O'.  GOING TO CHECK MILEAGE AND SEE WHAT I GET.  I KNOW MY GREEN LIGHT BLINKS ON THE ECU ALSO I CHECKED IT ONE NIGHT AND BARELY NOTICED A DIM LIGHT BLINKING REALLY FAST.

FOUND A PROBLEM WITH THE O2 SENSOR.  THE O2 SENSOR WIRE WASN'T READING ANY VOLTAGE COMING FROM THE O2 SENSOR.  I CUT AND PUT A NEW CONNECTOR ON THE WIRE AND STILL NO VOLTAGE.  THE O2 SENSOR WOULD GIVE ME A VOLTAGE WHEN IT WASN'T CONNECTED TO THE ECU.  FOUND OUT THAT THERE IS A GROUNDED SHIELD UNDER THE OUTER JACKET OF THE WIRE.  THE WIRE APPARENTLY WAS CRIMPED IN WITH THE CABLE AND CAUSING A SHORT.  THE WIRE WAS SORTA GNARLED UP SO MAYBE IT IT GOT MESSED UP WHEN I CHANGED THE HEADGASKET.

 UNFORTUNATELY THIS DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM.  WHEN IN FOR A SMOG CHECK AND IT PASSED EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE CO MEANING I'M RUNNING MEGA RICH STILL.  THE ECU ISN'T CHANGING THE AF RATIO.  THOUGHT IT WAS THE ECU AND BOUGHT A 83 ZXT ECU AND PLUGGED IT IN AND I'M STILL NOT GETTING A BLINKING GREEN LIGHT OFF OF IT.  SO THE ONLY CONCLUSION I CAN GIVE IS THAT THE O2 SENSOR IS FOULED AGAIN BECAUSE I RAN IT RICH FOR SO LONG.  WILL GIVE THE O2 SENSOR A MORE THOROUGH CHECK.

THE OTHER AFM I PUT IN WAS MESSED UP WASN'T MAKING THE CAR RUN VERY WELL SO I PUT THE ONE I HAD BEFORE AND OPENED IT UP SO CLEAN INSIDE.  MARKED IT AND MOVED IT BACK ABOUT 15 TEETH.  CAR HAS TROUBLE STARTING UP IN THE MORNING BUT I GOT THE MILEAGE UP TO 16 NOW CLOSE BUT STILL SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. 

GOT A FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE NEED TO INSTALL IT, MAYBE MY FP REGULATOR IS MESSED UP. 

NOW THE DMV WANTS ME TO SMOG THE CAR.  I DON'T THINK IT'LL PASS BUT I'LL BRING IT IN FOR A PRETEST AFTER I CHANGE THE OIL, NEW SPARK PLUGS, AND DUMP A COUPLE ONCES OF ACETONE IN THE GAS TANK.

SWAPPED OUT AFM WITH ANOTHER AFM WITH AN OPEN COVER AND ADJUSTED A COUPLE TEETH CLOCKWISE TO TIGHTEN THE SPRING, HOPEFULLY THIS'LL GET ME UP SOME MPG.  I DIDN'T WANNA DO IT BUT THIS IS MY LAST RESORT.  ALL I HAVE TO DO IS WATCH EGTS NOW SO I DON'T RUN IT LEAN.  CLEANED SPARK PLUGS BLACK!!!  WASHED CAR LOOKS A LITTLE BETTER AND POLISHED WHEELS LIPS SHINY AGAIN!

FOR SOME REASON THE INTERIOR IS ALWAYS WET I THINK THERE ARE SOME PLUGS ON THE UNDERSIDE THAT ARE DRY ROTTED AND CAUSING THIS.  o_O  CHECKED MY MILEAGE AGAIN TODAY AFTER SOME DRIVING, VERY CONSERVATIVE DRIVING WITH SOME OCCASIONAL WOT ACTION AND GUESS WHAT STILL 14 MPG!!!  OH WELL AT LEAST I GAINED 2 MPG FROM TPS ADJUSTMENT I THINK ITS TIME TO START ADJUSTING THAT AFM.

CAR IS STILL GETTING 12 MILES PER GALLON -_- 

INSTALLED ANOTHER TPS AFTER FINDING OUT WHILE ADJUSTING IT AT 1400 RPM THAT IT WILL TOUCH THE IDLE POINT, THE NEW ONE I INSTALLED DOESN'T LOOK LIKE IT TOUCHES THE IDLE CONTACT AT ALL WHICH WILL DO FOR NOW.  I DROVE IT ABOUT 80 MILES AND GOT 14 MPG!!!  I HAVE FINALLY BROKEN THE 12 MPG BARRIER!!!  ALTHOUGH THAT'S STILL NOTHING TO BE PROUD ABOUT, I DID TAKE IT TO CALAVERAS DURING THE CLUB4AG BAY AREA CRUISE AND I GOT ON IT A BIT SO THATS NOT ACCURATE.  GOING TO DO ANOTHER CHECK AFTER DRILL, I WILL TRY MY BEST TO KEEP THE SPEED DOWN HAHA.  THE HANDLING IS VERY GOOD BECAUSE I'M RUNNING THE WRONG SIZE TIRES AND THEIR TOURING TIRES.  I WAS RUNNING THE OVERSIZED SWASTIKAS IN THE REAR AND UNDERSIZED SLOTS IN THE FRONT AND IT STARTED UNDERSTEERING A BIT.  BRAKES WORKED GREAT STILL MUSHY BUT THEY DIDN'T FADE ONCE, BUT I WAS TAKING IT EASY, I'M SURE IF I HAD PUSHED IT HARDER I COULDA FADED EM BUT ITS NOT LIKE I COULDA PUSHED ANYMORE WITH TWO TIRES THAT ARE IN THE EARLY STAGES OF TREAD SEPARATION AND CHEAP CALIENTE BRAND TIRES IN THE FRONT.  NOTICED THE FRONT OF MY ENGINE IS GETTING ALL OILY.  I HOPE ITS NOT BECAUSE I LEFT PART OF THE TIMING CHAIN TOOL STRING BETWEEN THE HEADGASKET AND THE HEAD.  I FOUND THAT THE TWO 10MM BOLTS THAT HOLD THE FRONT OF THE HEAD ON WERE SO LOOSE YOU CAN TAKE IT OUT BY HAND.  I PUT LOCKTITE ON IT AND HOPEFULLY THIS STOPS MY OIL LEAKING PROBLEM.  FINALLY GOT A NEW DECK, WAS AT FRY'S AND I FINALLY CAVED IN AND BOUGHT A SONY MP3/CD DECK.   NO MORE WIRES GOING TO MP3 PLAYER ^_^, 200 WATTS SURE MAKES MY OLD SPEAKERS SOUND BRAND NEW AND MY SUB BUMPS SO MUCH CLEANER.  I NOTICED THAT THE GROUND HAD COME OFF SO MAYBE THAT'S WHY I COULD HEAR THE ENGINE THROUGH THE SUB.  NOW MY CAR IS A THEIF MAGNET!  ALSO THE ANTENNA DIDN'T REACH SO IF I WANT RADIO I NEED TO GET AN EXTENDER BUT...  I NEVER LISTEN TO THE RADIO AND I DON'T HAVE AN ANTENNA RIGHT NOW.  BALANCED THE SLOTS TODAY AND ONE OF THEM WAS JUST PLAIN JACKED UP THE BALANCER WOULD SAY ITS BALANCED BUT I PUT IT BACK ON AND SPIN IT AND ITS OFF A LITTLE.  IT TOOK REALLY BIG WEIGHTS ALSO SO SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THAT ONE TIRE.  I'M JUST GOING TO SWITCH IT OUT FOR THE GOOD ONES.

DON'T KNOW WHY AFTER INSTALLING NEW O2 SENSOR, I FOUND A LOOSE INJECTOR AND MY HEAD TEMP SENSOR WAS SO LOOSE THAT THE CONNECTOR COULD ROTATE SO MAYBE THAT WAS IT.  IF AFTER THIS IT STILL GETS 12 MPG I HATE TO DO IT BUT I WILL LEAN IT UP WITH THE AFM.  STILL GETTING 12 MPG CRACKED TPS OPEN AND READJUSTED HOPE THAT DOES THE TRICK.  WELL I CHECKED THE TPS THE WAY THEY SAY TO DO IT ONLINE HOLD IT AT 1400 RPM AND ADJUST IT SO IT DOESN'T CONTACT.  WELL APPARENTLY THE TPS I HAD IN THERE TOUCHED THE IDLE CONTACT FOR MOST OF THE SWEEP RANGE AND GOES TO WOT REALLY FAST SO THERE IS NO COAST MODE.  SO THE TPS MIGHT BE THE CAUSE, I INSTALLED A DIFFERENT ONE AND BROKE THE COVER OFF AND ADJUSTED IT THIS ONE IS LIKE THE OPPOSITE.  IT DOESN'T TOUCH THE IDLE CONTACT FROM WHAT I COULD SEE BUT STAYS IN COAST MODE MOST OF THE TIME WHICH SHOULD BE LEANER o_O'  AFTER THAT AFM TIME.

INSTALLED HALVESHAFTS AND DRIVESHAFT.  BLED REAR BRAKES AGAIN.  ADJUSTED EBRAKE TIGHTER, TIGHTER BUT STILL NOT ENOUGH TO LOCK REAR WHEN DRIVING.  TESTED PHANTOM GRIP IN THE RAIN AND IT DOES PUSH WHEN DRIFTING NOW AND THE BACK HAS MORE TRACTION.  I MANAGED TO DO ONE AND A HALF DRIFT DONUT TOO.

INSTALLED PUMPKIN INTO CAR TODAY.  WHEW ONLY TOOK ME AN HOUR TO GET THE PUMPKIN IN THERE AND HALF AN HOUR TO BOLT THE CROSS MEMBER AND STUFF UP.  MUCH BETTER CONSIDERING IT TOOK ME 3 HOURS TO DO IT TAKING IT ALL OFF.  ALL THAT'S LEFT IS TO INSTALL HALVESHAFTS AND DRIVESHAFT.  MAYBE BLEED THE REAR ONE MORE TIME.

INSTALLED PHANTOM GRIP INTO R200 DIFF, MOST TIME CONSUMING PART WAS SANDING SPIDER GEARS DOWN TO GET THE PHANTOM GRIP TO FIT FIT IN BETWEEN THEM, THEN GETTING THE DIFF UNIT BACK INTO THE CASE WAS A CHALLENGE.  DIFF IS READY TO GO I HOPE I ASSEMBLED IT CORRECTION o_O', NOW JUST NEED TO INSTALL IT IN THE CAR.

REMOVED R200 DIFFERENTIAL TODAY, PLANNING ON INSTALLING PHANTOM GRIP TOMMORROW. 

INSTALLED 4X4 CALIPERS AND VENTED 300ZX ROTORS, INSTALLED NO PROBLEM GETTING THE HUBS SEPARATED FROM THE ROTORS.  INSTALLED A 15/16 ZX BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER.  BLEEDED THE CRAP OUT OF ALL THE BRAKES AND I GOT IT TO A POINT WHERE IT'LL BITE REALLY HARD HALF WAY DOWN.  BRAKES LIKE A CHAMP NOW, CAN LOCK THE TIRES IF I REALLY GET ON IT.  =)  UNFORTUNATELY NEITHER MY SWASTIKAS OR SLOTS HAVE THE PROPER OFFSET TO WORK WITH THE 4X4 CALIPERS SO I HAD TO BORROW SOME SPACERS FROM A FRIEND TO GET IT TO CLEAR.  YAY BETTER BRAKING WIDER STANCE!  CUT PASSENGER SIDE CARPET TO FIT AROUND THE ROLL BAR.  WIRED LIGHT IN FOR THE EGT GAUGE, NOW I CAN SEE MY EGTS EVEN AT NIGHT.  I REALLY LIKE THE GAUGE SETUP THEY LOOK LIKE THEY BELONG THERE =).  REINSTALLED MY THE STOCK VITALONI (WELL IT CAME WITH THE CAR) MIRROR BECAUSE I GOT FED UP WITH HAVING NO MIRRORS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE.  UNFORTUNATELY ITS FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE SO IT LOOKS A LITTLE WEIRD.  PLANNING ON JUST GETTING SOME OLD RX7 MIRRORS.   TOOK IT UP TO 80 MPH AND THEY DIDN'T FOLD BACK =)  INSTALLED SLOTS WITH 195/60/14S CALIENTE TIRES ON THE FRONT AND MAN I WAS RIGHT THOSE SHITTY OVERSIZED MICHELINS WERE ROBBING ME OF MY SPORTSCAR HANDLING, STEERING WHEEL IS LIKE 30% EASIER TO TURN AND IT HANDLES LIKE 50% BETTER!  ITS GOT THAT DEMON DROP LOOK NOW HEHE.  CAR HAS 4.5 FINGER GAP NOW THOUGH BUT NO BIGGIE.

CAR IS RUNNING GREAT FOR A CHANGE.  PLANNING ON INSTALLING BRAKES AFTER FINALS ARE OVER.  WILL SEE IF GAS MILEAGE GETS BETTER TOOK CAR TO SCOTT PERFORMANCE IN SANTA CLARA FOR A BASELINE DYNO RUN.  WAS SCARED IT WASN'T GOING TO SURVIVE BUT IT HELD UP WELL.  PUT OUT 196.1 HP @ CRANK AND 158.4 WHP ^_^.  I'M HAPPY WITH THE NUMBERS!  I'M CONFIDENT THAT IT WOULD HAVE PUT OUT MORE HP TO THE WHEELS IF I HAD THE CORRECT SIZE TIRES ON IT TOO, PROBABLY WHY THERES SO MUCH DRIVETRAIN LOSS ABOUT 20%.  I KNOW THOSE 205/65/15S ROB POWER BECAUSE WHEN CHANGED EM IT FELT LIKE IT.  THEY SAID I WASN'T GETTING ENOUGH FUEL FROM 5000+ RPM UP SO I NEED TO GIVE IT SOME MORE FUEL SOMEHOW.  

INSTALLED NEW NIPPON DENSO O2 SENSOR HOPEFULLY THIS WILL GET MY MILEAGE UP FROM 12 MPG o_O'.  THREADS ON OLD O2 SENSOR SEIZED SO I HAD TO USE IMPACT GUN TO TAKE IT OUT AND KINDA CROSS THREAD THE NEW ON IN. 

INSTALLED AUTOMETER EGT GAUGE IN A TEMPORARY LOCATION STILL NEED TO HOOK UP THE LIGHT THOUGH BUT GAUGE IS FUNCTIONAL. 

CHANGED OLD DEEP CYCLE BATTERY FOR THE KIRKLAND BATTERY THAT WAS IN THE ECLIPSE, STARTS UP FASTER NOW.  NEW S30 VIDEO IN MOVIES SECTION OF DYNO RUN CHECK IT OUT!!!

FIXED RADIATOR WITH QWIKSTEEL JUST MOLDED THAT STUFF UP AND STUCK IT ON THE HOLE AND AROUND THE DRAIN COCK BUNG AND IT SEALED UP.  WAS AFRAID IT DIDN'T FOR A SECOND CUZ I SAW A DRIP BUT THE GASKET JUST NEEDED TO SET IN.  INSTALLED EGT GAUGE AND MOUNTED IN A TEMPORARY POSITION NEAR THE A PILLAR UNTIL I GET THE TURBO TIMER INSTALLED.  WEIGHT CAR TODAY AT RECYCLING SCALES THE OPERATOR WAS BEING A DICK AND SAID I WAS MESSING UP HIS BUSINESS AND WOULDN'T TELL ME THE WEIGHT BUT I TOOK A GLANCE AT IT BEFORE I TOOK OFF SUCKA.  IT WAS 2833 LBS BUT I HAD SOME GROCERIES AND TOOLS IN THE CAR THAT I TOOK OUT AND WEIGHED WHEN I GOT HOME AND GOT IT CAME OUT TO 2775 LBS WITH A 3/4 TANK OF GAS.

FOUND THE PROBLEM WITH WHY MY CAR DIED AND WOULDN'T START.  AFTER REPLACING THE IGNITION SWITCH THERE WAS NO CHANGE.  SO I'M CRANKIN AWAY AND I GET IT TO START BARELY.  THEN I NOTICE A SPARKING SOUND, I CHECKED THE SPARK FROM THE COIL B4 AND IT WAS GOOD BUT I NEVER MESSED WITH THE DISTRIBUTOR.  SO I GUESS I'D BETTER GO CHECK IT OUT.  POP THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP OFF AND CHECKED THE DISTRIBUTOR LOOKED OK TO ME, STARTED LOOKING AT THE ROTOR.  WELL... ITS ON THERE BUT WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SCREW SITTING ON THE CAS COVER!!!  O_O'  APPARENTLY THE SCREW HAD COME LOOSE AND WAS FREE SPINNING INSIDE THE ROTOR CAUSING THE MISFIRING AND ALL.  LEAVE IT UP TO NISSAN TO NOT AT LEAST PUT A KEY ON IT, ANYWAY I PUT LOCTITE ON THE SCREW BEFORE I PUT IT BACK IN, PUT THE DISTRIBUTOR BACK ON AND WHADDA YA KNOW FIRED RIGHT UP.  FEEL KINDA DUMB NOW. 

NOW I HAVE TO FIX MY RADIATOR THE STUPID TOW TRUCK DRIVER BROKE.  APPARENTLY IT WASN'T ONLY THE DRAIN COCK THAT WAS LEAKING ITS THE WHOLE DOGGON TANK!  GONNA TRY SOME OF THAT PERMATEX RADIATOR REPAIR STUFF HOPEFULLY IT DOES THE TRICK.  I GUESS I'LL BE SCOURING THE JUNKYARD FOR A RADIATOR WHEN THEY GO ON SALE.  BOUGHT A FUEL FILTER STILL HAVE TO INSTALL IT.

THE CAR SUDDENLY DIED ON ME IN TRAFFIC AND HAD A CHP CAR PUSH MY CAR OFF THE ROAD.  HAD TO GET THE CAR TOWED HOME AND THE TOW TRUCK BUSTED THE DRAIN COCK OFF OF MY RADIATOR.  I THINK THE CAR DIED BECAUSE OF THE IGNITION SWITCH BOUGHT A NEW ONE TODAY AND A WIX FUEL FILTER.

GOT THE HEAD BACK FROM THE SHOP GASP 290 BUX!

INSTALLED HEAD, ADJUSTED VALVES, INSTALLED FAN SHROUD AND ELECTRIC FAN, INSTALLED COOLING PROBE FOR ELECTRIC FAN (UNFORTUNATELY IT USES A HELLA BIG 3/8 NPT THREAD SO WHEN I DRILLED AND TAPPED IT AND HAD TO SCREW IT IN CRACKED THE HOUSING, I JB WELDED IT I HOPE IT HOLDS.) 

DISCONNECTED VOLTAGE REGULATOR AND IT DOESN'T SEEM TO BE FIXING THE ALTERNATOR PROBLEM. 

CHANGED TRANNY FLUID TO BG SYNCROSHIFT, SHIFTS MUCH BETTER NOW BUT STILL GRINDS IN GEARS 1-3 BYE BYE SYNCROS.  NEXT TIME I HAVE TO CHANGE TRANNY FLUID I'LL TRY REDLINE MTL. 

VALVES MAKE NOISE WHEN ENGINE GETS WARM ADJUSTED VALVES 3 TIME TWICE COLD AND ONCE HOT AND STILL GET NOISE GRRR -_- 

ELECTRIC FAN KICKS ASS ACTUALLY SEE NEEDLE GO DOWN WHEN IT TURNS ON.  NO COOLANT LEAKS YET. 

INSTALLED HKS BYPASS VALVE UNFORTUANTELY I'M GETTING 12 MPG, THE CAR SOUNDS FUNNY WITH THE BYPASS VALVE NO HOW IT SHOULD SO I UNINSTALLED IT AND WILL SEE IF THAT WAS THE CAUSE.  CAR IS RUNNING RICH FOR SOME REASON TAILPIPE IS TURNING BLACK.  IDLE SEEMS A LITTLE ROUGER AND I'M GETTING A GUZZLING SOUND COMING FROM THE EXHUAST NOW. 

HAD TO WIELD STUPID EGT PROBE INTO THE EXHAUST BECAUSE I MESSED THE THREADS UP, LOOKS HORRIBLE o_O AND LEAKS A LITTLE. 

PLAYED WITH A RSX ON THE FREEWAY IN 5TH GEAR ONLY BWAHAHA. 

HAD A FLAT REPAIRED AT AMERICA'S TIRED.

IDLES GREAT WHEN ITS WARM BUT WHEN COLD IT RUNS LIKE CRAP o_O  

TRIED DISCONNECTED VOLTAGE REGULATOR AND IT DIDN'T SOLVE THE PROBLEM.  I THINK I MAY BE ABLE TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM BY DISCONNECTING THE VOLTAGE REGULATOR BUT I KEEP FORGETTING TO TRY IT. 

TRANNY STILL GRINDS I THINK THE SYNCROS ARE BAD, I'M GOING TO CHANGE THE FLUID TO REDLINE OR SOMETHING LATER.  FOR SOME REASON TRANNY SHIFTS GREAT WHEN COLD BUT AS IT WARMS UP IT STARTS GRINDING.  I THINK I USED THE WRONG VISCOSITY OIL, I'M STILL GOING TO TRY SYNCROSHIFT THOUGH.

GONNA REPLACE THE GMB WATERPUMP WITH A NISSAN ONE WHEN I CHANGE THE HEAD GASKET.  ENGINE IS IN PIECES IN THE GARAGE RIGHT NOW.  TOOK ME ABOUT 2 DAYS TO GET THE HEAD OFF NO TOO DIFFICULT.  USED A STRAIGHT EDGE TO CHECK IF THE HEAD IS WARPED AND I THINK ITS WARPED, THERE A CLEARANCE OF .1MM IN THE CENTER SO ITS GONNA HAVE TO BE RESURFACED.  I'M NOT SURE IF I CHECKED IT RIGHT BUT BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY I GUESS.  GASKET SEEMS TO HAVE DETERIORATED BETWEEN CYLINDER 3 AND 4 WITH CYLINDER #3 TAKING ON MORE WATER.  INSTALLED EGT PROBE FITTING ONTO 6TH RUNNER ON THE EXHUAST MANIFOLD.  PLANNING TO INSTALL BROWN TURBO INJECTORS I GOT FROM THE JUNKYARD.  PLANNING TO INSTALL NISSAN WATER PUMP.  GOING TO HAVE THE HEAD RESURFACED AND GET A VALVE JOB DONE.  I WANT TO REPLACE THE EXHAUST VALVES BUT NO ONE STOCKS THEM, HOPEFULLY THEY'RE FINE THEY'RE EXPENSIVE ALSO 15 A PIECE.  AT THE LEAST THE VALVE STEM SEALS WILL BE REPLACED.

RIGHT WHEN I WAS TAKING IT FOR A TEST DRIVE I NOTICED DISASTER HAS STRUCK ONCE AGAIN.  SMOKE COMES POURING OUT OF THE EXHUAST.  MY SUSPICIONS WERE CONFIRMED CYLINDERS #4 AND #5 HAD WATER SHOOTING OUT OF THE SPARK PLUG HOLES WHEN I DID A COMPRESSION TEST ON IT AND THE PLUG IS WET.  I REALLY NEED THIS CAR TO RUN SO THIS WEEKEND I'M GOING TO ATTEMPT AN EMERGENCY HEADGASKET REPLACEMENT, I HEARD IT CAN BE DONE IN LIKE 4-6 HOURS SO I'M JUST GOING TO REPLACE THE GASKET WITH A NISSAN ONE AND HEADBOLTS, HOPEFULLY THE HEAD ISN'T WARPED.  2ND TIME A L28 HAS BLOWN A GASKET IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ENGINE AND BURNT WATER >.<"

DISASTER STRUCK WHEN I DROVE THE FAIRLADYZ TO ALBANY FOR DRIFTSHOWOFF.  MADE IT THERE GREAT BUT THE WATERPUMP FAILED.  THANX TO A GROUP FROM SANTA CRUZ WE ACQUIRED A WATERPUMP FROM A LOCAL KRAGEN AND DID AN EMERGENCY REPAIR.  CAR MADE IT BACK ALRIGHT.  IT SURE IS FUN TO DRIVE AT NIGHT NEXT TO THE WANGAN.  I DID A LITTLE RESEARCH AND APPARENTLY THE CHEAP EBAY WATERPUMP I BOUGHT AND THE KRAGEN ONE I JUST BOUGHT WERE MANUFACTURED BY GMB AND HAVE SERIOUS PROBLEMS.  LUCKILY THE WATERPUMP SHAFT DIDN'T GO HURTLING THROUGH MY RADIATOR.  AT THE END OF THIS WEEK I WILL BUY AN ATSUGI WATERPUMP AT NISSAN, I DON'T WANT THIS CRAP HAPPENING TO ME AGAIN.  AFTER ABOUT ONLY 300 MILES IT CRAPPED OUT!  HOW'S THAT FOR QUALITY CONTROL.

INSTALLED A CIVIC STRUT BAR, VERY TIGHT FIT HAD TO ADJUST IT LOWER SO IT WOULDN'T HIT THE HOOD AND I HAD TO BEND THE BRACKET FOR THE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR BECAUSE ITS TOUCHING THE BAR.  HAD TO DRILL A HOLE TO GET IT TO BOLT UP CORRECTLY. 

BOUGHT ARI REMANUFACTURED V6 4X4 4PISTON FRONT CALIPERS WITH PINS.  I BOUGHT AND RETURNED A PAIR FROM AUTOZONE BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T COME WITH PINS.  BOUGHT OEM PADS. 

BOUGHT 15/16 BORE MASTER CYLINDER. 

FIXED REAR DISC HEATSHIELD SO IT DOESN'T SCRAPE SO MUCH. 

LOOKING FOR APEXI TURBO TIMER, SO ANNOYING WAITING TO TURN CAR OFF.

CHECKED MILEAGE AND GOT 17.6 MPG, THATS NOT TOO BAD IT USED TO GET 18 WITH THE OLD ENGINE AND I HAD BEEN DRIVING UP AND DOWN HILLS.  I DON'T THINK IT WILL DO BETTER THAN 21 MPG MAYBE.

CHECKED A SPARK PLUG AND ITS GREY. 

FOR SOME REASON THE DMV THINKS I TRANSFERRED THE CAR TO SOMEONE ELSE AND THE PERSON PAID THE REGISTRATION.  I JUST THINK THE DMV SCREWED SOMETHING UP, WHY WOULD SOMEONE PAY FOR THE REGISTRATION IF I STORED THE CAR FOR 2 YEARS!?  ANYWAY THEY GAVE ME LIKE A 3 MONTH MOVING PERMIT SO ITS ALL GOOD AT LEAST I CAN DRIVE IT. 

INSTALLED MSD 6A ONTO NEW IGNITION SYSTEM FIXED THE TACH APPARENTLY I HAD THE TACH AND THE ECU GETING SIGNAL FROM THE SAME WIRE  o_O

FINISHED REAR DISC CONVERSION AFTER A WHOLE MONTH OF WAITING FOR STUPID BRACKETS.  FOR SOME REASON THE BRAKE PEDAL IS REAL SOFT I THINK I NEED TO UPGRADE TO A 15/16 MASTER CYLINDER.  I'M HEARING SCRAPING NOISES BUT I CAN'T PIN POINT IT AND THE DREADED CLUNK IS BACK!  I'M KINDA WISHING I JUST STUCK WITH THE DRUMS NOW -_- 

FIXED SPEEDOMETER PROBLEM, JUST REPLACED THE SPEEDO GEAR WITH ANOTHER ONE.

SOME LADY REAR ENDED THE NEON PRETTY BAD WHEN MY MOM WAS DRIVING IT IN PALO ALTO ON THE WAY TO IKEA.  GOT 1800 DOLLAS FROM THEIR INSURANCE COMPANY AND WE KEPT THE CAR.  THE WHOLE BODY SHIFTED IN SOME, THEY WANTED TO TOTAL IT BUT IT STILL DRIVES GOOD.  APPLIED FOR A SALVAGE CERTIFICATE AND NEW TITLE. 

PAID 120 DOLLARS AND FAILED THE BRAKE AND LAMP INSPECTION THE REVERSE LIGHTS DIDN'T WORK AND THE THE THIRD BRAKE LIGHT BULB WAS BLOWN.  I WENT TO THE JUNKYARD AND GRABBED A BUNCHA BULBS AND REPLACED THE BLOWN ONES.  I FIXED THE REVERSE LIGHT PROBLEM, THE WIRE WASN'T SITTING PROPERLY IN ITS BRACKET WHICH CAUSED IT TO HAVE A LOOSE CONNECTION.  WHEW SAVED MYSELF 90 DOLLARS TO HAVE THEM FIX IT FOR SOMETHING SO SIMPLE.  I'LL PROBABLY GET A WHEEL ALIGNMENT DONE TO SEE WHAT KINDA DAMAGE WAS CAUSED, IF WORSE COMES TO WORSE THE BODY IS TWEAKED AND SOME OF THE TIRES WILL WEAR FASTER THAN OTHERS.  JUST HAVE TO ROTATE THEM MORE OFTEN, ITS NEVER HAD ONE DONE BEFORE ALSO SO IT'S PROBABLY A GOOD IDEA.  CAR STILL DRIVES STRAIGHT TO ME THOUGH o_O'

INSTALLED NEW GOODYEAR TIMING BELT IN NEON, NEW IDLER AND TENSIONER PULLIES, NEW AIRTEX WATER PUMP, NEW ACCESSORY AND ALTERNATOR BELT, NEW AIRFILTER, AND NEW HYDRAULIC TENSIONER.  THE CAR IS AWESOME NOW.  INSTALLED BRAND NEW DISCS AND BRAKE PADS.  APPARENTLY SOMEHOW HAD ALREADY INSTALLED A NEW TIMING BELT IN THERE BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG AGO.  BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY.  91K MILES ON THE ODOMETER.

MY DAD INSTALLED A BACK UP SENSOR BUT IT ONLY WORKS HALF THE TIME FOR SOME REASON AND IT BEEPS TOO EARLY.

WOOHOO PASSED SMOG ^_^ NOW I WON'T SAY IT PASSED WITHOUT A HITCH THOUGH.  IT PASSED BUT COMPARED TO THE AVERAGE IT WAS KINDA HIGH.  IT NEARLY FAILED HYDROCARBON IT WAS 63 AND FAILING IS 64, CO IT PASSED REAL GOOD THOUGH, AND NOX PASSED GOOD BUT WAS DOUBLE THE AVERAGE.  SO WELL IT PASSED AND I SHOULD REALLY FIGURE OUT WHY IT GOT THOSE SOMEWHAT HIGH NUMBERS.  IT COULD BE THAT BECAUSE THERE WAS SOME NASTY OIL IN THERE ITS STILL DIRTY AND WILL BE DIRTY FOR A WHILE SO MAYBE THAT'S WHY THE HC WAS LOW.  IT DIDN'T STAY ON THE RUNNERS VERY LONG THOUGH MAYBE LIKE 20 SECONDS PER RUN TOPS SO MAYBE IT JUST CUT RIGHT WHEN IT WENT DOWN.  I DID RUN IT ON THE FREEWAY BUT I HAD TO LET IT SIT FOR LIKE 10 MINUTES BECAUSE THERE WAS SOMEONE B4 ME.  BUT HELL IF A INFINITI J30 WITH A VG30DE CAN SIT FOR 10 MINUTES AND PASS WITH VERY LOW NUMBERS THEN I DON'T SEE WHY A NEON CAN'T o_O'.  ANYWAY THE CAR IS READY TO ROCK AND ROLL REGISTRATION IS NEARLY COMPLETE.  ROTATED TIRES TODAY BECAUSE STEERING WHEEL SHAKES ON THE FREEWAY.  WHEEL STARTS SHAKING AT 80 SO 70 IS THE MAGIC NUMBER.  CHECKED ROTORS OUT WHILE I WAS AT IT LOOK LIKE ITS GONNA NEED NEW ROTORS I'LL JUST WAIT TILL THE PADS GET RUN DOWN.

 DID COMPRESSION TEST TODAY GASP 235S PSI ACROSS THE CYLINDERS NOT BAD PRETTY HIGH.  ITS A POWERFUL LITTLE ENGINE, NOT FAR OFF FROM THE ECLIPSES 270 PSI!  REPLACED SPARK PLUGS MAN IT HAD A SET OF BOSCH SUPER SPARK PLUGS AND THEY DIDN'T LOOK VERY HAPPY, THE GAP HAD EXCEEDED .050 ALREADY AND THE ELECTRODES WERE PRETTY ROUNDED OFF ALREADY.  SPARK PLUGS WELL GASKETS WERE LEAKING A LITTLE, RETORQUED THE VALVE COVER HOPE THAT HELPS.  INSTALLED SCREAMIN DEMON COIL PACK FROM THE ECLIPSE SINCE ITS NOT RUNNING AND MY MSD PLUG WIRES.  INSTALLED NGK BKR5E (SOMETHING LIKE THAT) HOTTER SPARK PLUGS GAPPED AT .050.  CHANGED OIL WITH CASTROL 10W-30 AND FILTER.  PUT A BUNCHA CLAMPS THAT SOMEONE FORGOT TO PUT BACK IN THE RIGHT PLACE.  READY FOR SMOG CHECK!!!

CLEANED THE CRAP OUT OF THE INTERIOR OF THE CAR, LOOK BRAND NEW ^_^.  PUT IN BLACK FLOORMATS GOES GOOD WITH BLACK/TAN INTERIOR.  FOUND SOME CHANGE AND A BUNCHA NONESENSE PAPERS.  MADE COPIES OF THE ONE KEY IT CAME WITH.  NOT SURE BUT I THINK THE CAR USED TO HAVE AN ALARM UNDER THE DASH FELT WHAT I THINK WAS A BRAIN AND THERE WAS A WIRE GOING OUT OF IT WITH AN LED.  I DON'T SEE A HORN ANYWHERE IN THE CAR BUT THOSE CAN BE HIDDEN.  OH WELL ITS USELESS WITHOUT THE REMOTE.  TIGHTENED ACCESSORY BELT, RAN SEAFOAM THROUGH ENGINE, TIGHTENED BATTERY TERMINALS AND REPLACED NUTS (CORRODED), REPLACED FILTER.  FOUND OUT WHY THE LIGHT IS POINTING TOWARD THE GROUND, THE BULB WASN'T PROPERLY LOCKED INTO THE HEADLIGHT, ITS ACTUALLY MISSING THE LARGE PLASTIC NUT RING THAT HOLDS IT IN SO I JUST SEATED IT STRAIGHT WILL NEED TO SCOUR THE YARDS FOR THE RING AT A LATER TIME.  THE OTHER SIDE THAT WAS TOO HIGH ADJUSTED TO THE SAME HEIGHT AS THE OTHER SIDE.  APPARENTLY THAT SIDE WAS IN AN ACCIDENT SO THE FRAME IN THAT AREA WAS KINDA BENT UP AND THERES THIS HOLE WHERE YOUR SUPPOSE TO BE ABLE TO ADJUST IT, WELL THE PIECE OF METAL THE HOLE WAS ON WAS BENT SO YOU COULDN'T GET TO IT.  GOT SOME PLIERS AND BENT IT BACK AND ADJUSTED IT.  NOW PERFECT VISIBILITY.  THE BULBS ARE KINDA WEAK BUT THEY'LL DO FOR NOW.

IT LIVES LIVES IT BREATHS.  IT SCREAMS FOR TLC.  BOUGHT NEW OIL FILTER, OIL, AIR FILTER, HOTTER NGK SPARK PLUGS, AND SOME SEAFOAM TO GIVE ITS INNARDS SOME CLEANING.  TIMING BELT LOOKS GOOD BUT ITS SORTA LOOSE BUT IT RUNS GREAT.  PLANNING TO RUN SEAFOAM THROUGH THE ENGINE, HEATSOAK IT, DO A COMPRESSION TEST, INSTALL NEW PLUGS, MY OLD NGK WIRES (THEY'RE PROBABLY BETTER THAN THE STOCK ONES, HELL FOR THE SMOG CHECK I MIGHT JUST PUT MY MSD WIRES IN IT), CHANGE OIL, AND CHANGE AIR FILTER.  THEN TAKE IT FOR A PRE SMOG AND GO FROM THERE.  I'M GOING TO DO SOME FREE MODS TOO HEHE LIKE TAKE THE INTAKE SNORKEL OFF AND MAYBE TAKE THE HOOD LINER OFF THE BACK, BUT THAT WILL BE THE EXTENT OF IT.  INTERIOR NEEDS SOME MAJOR VACUUMING AND I NEED TO HELLA ADJUST THE HEADLIGHT.

JUST FINISHED WITH ITS 12,000 MILE MAINTENANCE. 

ADJUSTED REAR BRAKE LIGHT FORGOT I CHANGED THE PADS, TAKES LOTSA TRAVEL TO TURN IT ON. 

ADJUST CLUTCH LEVER. 

GREASED SWING ARM. 

MOVED FUEL FILTER TO OF CARBS MIGHT MAKE THE BIKE RUN BETTER IF GRAVITY HELPS FEED THE FUEL IN o_O'. 

THE RIGHT REAR SHOCK CONTINUES TO LEAK AND LEAK WORSE SO I PULLED OUT MY SPARE SHOCK AND SENT THE SHOCK BACK TO AFTER-SHOCKS, THEY SAID THEY WOULD FIX IT FOR FREE.  =) 

REPLACED SPARK PLUGS. 

CHECK THROTTLE GRIP PLAY. 

TOPPED OFF BATTERY. 

 I THINK I'LL HOLD OFF ON THE CARB SYNC FOR NOW, FOR SOME REASON THE VACUUM BOUNCES ALL OVER THE PLACE, EVEN WITH THE ENGINE WARM.  I'LL SEE HOW MUCH GRAND PRIX WILL CHARGE TO SYNC THE CARBS.

REBUILT SEALS ON FRONT FORKS. 

INSTALLED NEW BATLAX TIRE IN THE FRONT. 

INSTALLED REBUILT REAR SHOCKS, REAR LEFT ONE SEEMS TO BE LEAKING STILL BUT NOT AS MUCH AS BEFORE. 

NEW/USED FENDER INSTALLED, BONDO'D CRACKED PORTION OF IT, LOOKS PRETTY GOOD. 

INSTALLED NEW GEL GRIPS. 

INSTALLED SILVANIA SILVERSTAR BULBS, THE YELLOW BULB WAS GETTING ANNOYING AND SUCKED. 

GOT MY INSURANCE CLAIM, BIKE IS NOW A SALVAGE TITLE.  HAD TO GET A BRAKE AND LAMP INSPECTION DONE.  FAILED THE FIRST TIME BECAUSE REAR BRAKES ARE LOW SO I BOUGHT SOME NEW PADS AND INSTALLED THEM MYSELF.  PASSED AND GOT MY 1600 DOLLA CLAIM CHECK. 

JUST CLEANED BIKE TODAY. 

 I THINK THE BIKE IS DUE FOR A CARB SYNC I MIGHT TRY TO DO IT MYSELF.  BIKE RUNS GREAT AND HANDLES GREAT.

WELL BIKE IS BACK ON THE ROAD, DOESN'T LOOK TOO AS NICE AS BEFORE OR CORNERS AS GOOD AS BEFORE THOUGH. 

I BOUGHT A NEW HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY FROM SOMEONE ON ZEPHYR ZONE AND WAS ABLE TO INSTALL A NEW/USED HEADLIGHT, THE OLD BULB WAS NO GOOD ALSO SO I HAD TO INSTALL THE BULB THAT CAME WITH THE HEADLIGHT AND IT WAS THIS WEIRD YELLOW BULB O_o. 

I STRAIGHTENED OUT THE FORKS AS BEST I COULD BY LOSENING THE BOLTS FOR THE FORKS AND TWISTING THE HANDLE BAR ON A POST.  ITS PRETTY CLOSE TO STRAIGHT MIGHT NEED TO TWIST IT MORE THOUGH. 

NO FRONT FENDER STILL, I'M WAITING ON A NEW/USED ON TO COME, THE FRONT HANDLES LIKE AS WITHOUT IT. 

INSTALLED SOME USED REAR SHOCKS ALSO, ONE OF WHICH IS ALREADY LEAKING YAY, TURNED IN MY OLD ONES INTO AFTERSHOCK IN PALO ALTO TO HAVE THEM REBUILT.  216 DOLLARS -_-. 

INSTALLED A +5 DEGREE TIMING ADVANCER I GOT FROM SOMEONE ON ZEPHYR ZONE, PRETTY EASY TO INSTALL.

DISASTER I DECIDED TO TAKE A RIDE DOWN SANTA CLARA STREET TO GO DROP SOMETHING OFF AT SCHOOL.  WHEN I GOT TO 27TH STREET I WENT TO CHANGE LANES INTO THE LEFT LANE AND THEN I HEARD THE CAR RIGHT NEXT TO ME START SKIDDING I'M RIGHT NEXT TO IT AND I DON'T SEE IT TILL ITS TOO LATE AND A WHITE FORD SUV ROLLS UP RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, I TRY TO BRAKE BUT THERE'S NOT ENOUGH TIME TO STOP AND AVOID SO WE HIT AT THE SAME TIME.  I FLY FORWARD AND SLAM MY FACE INTO THE TRUCK AND I FALL OVER AND I THINK THE BIKE FELL ON ME.  AS I'M ON THE GROUND IN PAIN I SEE THE TRUCK REAR TIRES START SPINNING AND SMOKING AND I'M LIKE HELL NO YOUR GONNA RUN!   AND IT BACK UP AND GOES AROUND ME AND IT TRIES TO SPEED OFF BUT SPINS AND HITS A TOYOTA TUNDRA AND A MITSUBISHI MIRAGE THEN MAKES THE GETAWAY.  AFTER IT WENT AROUND ME I GOT UP AND TRIED TO CHASE THE TRUCK ON FOOT WHILE DIALING 911.  THE COPS GOT THERE IN LIKE 2MINS AND CLEANED EVERYTHING, THE AMBULANCE CHECKED ME OUT AND I REFUSED THEIR SERVICE BECAUSE ITS EXPENSIVE AND I COULD WALK.  THERE WERE A LOTTA WITNESSES AND THEY GOT PLATES SO HOPEFULLY THEY CATCH THIS PERSON.  I RODE THE BIKE HOME AFTER DETACHING THE FENDER.  THE HANDLE BARS LOOK LIKE ALL THEY NEED IS SOME ALIGNING.  THE TANK HAS DENTS ON BOTH SIDES.  GAUGE CLUSTER MOUNTING IS CRACKED A BIT, FENDER IS GONE, CLUTCH LEVER BROKEN AND BENT, HEADLIGHT BRACKET BROKE, HEADLIGHT ADJUSTMENT RING BENT.  IT MIGHT BE SALVAGEABLE IT DOESN'T SEEM TOO BAD =(  I GOT AWAY WITH A SPRAINIED KNEE AND FINGER, BRUISES ON MY INNER THIGH, AND A CUT ON MY THIGH.  MY HELMET SAVED MY FACE THE HELMET LOOKS FINE TOO, JUST THE CHINBAR HIT.

THE GAS MILEAGE HAS GONE DOWN EVER SINCE I'VE HAD THE BIKE WORKED AND TUNED ON IT GETS ROUGHLY 42-50 MPG NOW.  THE SHOCKS BOUNCE ALL THE TIME BUT I'VE FOUND A WAY TO KEEP IT AT BAY FOR NOW.  I FOUND OUT THERE IS A TENSION ADJUSTER, IT MAKES THE REBOUND STIFFER AND I RAISED THE REAR OF THE BIKE SO IT WON'T BOTTOM OUT AS MUCH.  I JUST WON SOME SHOCKS ON EBAY FROM A ZEPHYR 750RS HOPE THEY FIT SINCE THEY'RE FROM A BIGGER BIKE BUT LOOKS THE SAME TO ME WILL HAVE TO CHECK EM OUT WHEN I GET EM BUT I GOT EM FOR 10 A SIDE SO THAT'S WAY MORE ECONOMICAL THAN HAVING THE STOCK ONES REBUILT.  I ALSO GOT A STEERING STABALIZER FROM THE SAME BIKE, DON'T KNOW IF IT'LL FIT EITHER.  BUT CHEAP...

GOT THE BIKE BACK FROM SPEC1.  COST IS 600 DOLLARS PLUS THAT 150 DOLLAR TIRE.  WORK DONE CLEAN AND ADJUST CARBS, CLEAN AND COAT GAS TANK, INSTALL TIRE, AND THEY SAID IT WASN'T IDLING SMOOTHLY SO THEY SUGGESTED A VALVE ADJUSTMENT.  BIKE RUNS GREAT NOW, THIS'D BETTER GET ME FROM HOME AND TO SCHOOL FOR SEMESTERS TO COME. 

THE REAR SHOCKS ARE BLOWN THE REAR BOUNCES A LOT WHEN I HAVE A PASSENGER, ADJUSTING THE DAMPER HELPS A LITTLE BUT DURING SPRING BREAK I'LL HAVE THE SUSPENSION REBUILT I GUESS.  SPENDING TOO MUCH MONEY ON THE BIKE RIGHT NOW.

NEED NEW REAR SHOCKS LEAKING.  WELL THE DAMN THING IS LEAKING GAS AGAIN.  I TOOK IT TO SPEC1 TO HAVE THEM DEAL WITH IT YIKES 200 BUX TO CLEAN AND ADJUST THE CARBS, ITS OK IF IT WORKS WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.  I BOUGHT A NEW TIRE ALSO THAT SET ME BACK 150 FOR THE TIRE AND TO HAVE IT INSTALLED.

CARBS STARTED FLOODING AGAIN.  I BOUGHT A CARB REPAIR KIT AND INSTALLED BRAND NEW FLOAT VALVE NEEDLES. 

CLEANED OUT GAS TANK WITH SOME CHEM TOOL AND WHOLE LOTTA RUST CHIPS CAME OUT OF IT YUCK NO WONDER THERE WAS ALL THAT RUST.  I DON'T THINK I GOT IT ALL BUT THE FUEL THAT COMES OUT OF THE TAP IS MUCH CLEANER NOW THE FILTER HASN'T GOTTEN A LOTTA RUST IN IT YET. 

ONE OF THE CARBS KEPT ON FLOODING I DON'T THINK THE FLOAT VALVE WAS SEATING PROPERLY OR SOMETHING WAS STUCK IN THERE, BUT I DROVE IT AROUND FOR AN AFTER NOON WITH THE CARB LIKE THAT ALMOST TOO IT TO A MOTORCYCLE SHOP TO GET IT LOOKED AT BUT IT FIXED ITSELF AFTER I RODE IT FOR A WHILE.  THE BIKES BEEN RIDING FINE FOR 2 WEEKS. 

LAST MILEAGE CHECK I GOT 65 MPG TOO!  ^_^

HAD PROBLEM WITH FLOODING DUE TO FLOAT NEEDLES.  CLEANED CARBS AND INSTALLED AN INLINE FILTER.  CHANGED FILTER 3 TIMES, LOTSA RUST IN THERE.  NEED TO TAKE SCREENS/FILTERS OUT OF PETCOCK.
